Feierabend was born somewhere between a Google Calendar breakdown and a quiet glass of wine after work, from a deeply personal itch: to opt out of the hustle-for-hustle’s-sake lifestyle. Growing up in Europe, then working for U.S. companies and eventually moving stateside, I found myself in a culture that never seemed to log off. So I decided to do something about it. Feierabend is fully self-funded — no trust fund, no family loans, no inheritance (my parents didn't go to college and still rent). I built this brand from my own savings, armed with nothing but a love of comfy clothes, a distaste for being told what to do, and a tiny dream of one day getting my dog Rigatoni a yard. I created Feierabend because I was tired of seeing brands that glorify the grind and make the rest of us feel like we’re always behind. I want to offer something different — clothing that helps you stop chasing what you “should” be doing and start enjoying the life you’re actually living.

From Portugal With Love (and Excellent Stitching)
Our garments are made in collaboration with a woman-owned and operated atelier in northern Portugal with over 30 years of experience crafting pieces for some of fashion’s biggest names. Their team of top-tier seamstresses combines custom design with unmatched craftsmanship and a shared commitment to ethical production, offering a premium, small-batch production process that ensures every piece fits and feels just right. They specialize in low minimums and high standards — making them the perfect partner for a brand that cares deeply about quality, flexibility, and the human hands behind every seam.
While you’ll often hear us refer to Feierabend as “we,” this brand is run by one person. (Hi, that’s me.) But it wouldn’t exist without the people around me: a loving husband who hand-counts inventory, and steams garments before shoots, friends who model on their days off, girlfriends who tag along to Portugal for factory visits, and a dog that supplies an endless stream of serotonin. This is a brand that is held together by good people and good vibes — scrappy, loving, and a little chaotic, just like the people who built it.

Not ever having worked in Fashion, we’re learning as we go — which means we won’t always get it right, but we’ll always be transparent about what we’re doing and why. From fabrics and fit to sizing and sustainability, we’ll keep iterating, improving, and asking you what could be better. We’re big on authenticity (no AI-generated models here), basic image edits only (bye sweat stains, not thighs), and honesty in everything from our supply chain to our sarcastic product names. We write a little more than most brands because we’ve got nothing to hide and we want each of our pieces to tell a story — and we’ll never take ourselves too seriously - promise!
